Everybody came dressed in Singapore's colours red and white. The carrying of the school and national flag took place at the parade square and later, we went up to the hall to enjoy the rest of the celebration. We started off by singing many ( about 5 or 6 ) school songs. For some of them, we stood up and started to sing along too.
After the singing of songs, the teachers played the ' Don't forget the lyrics game'. There were songs such as- stand up for singapore and home. There were funny parts when male teachers had to sing. Mr Shahul went up for the P3s and got stuck so he called Mr Njoo. Luckily, some teachers ( it's a secret ) told Mr Njoo already. Mr Ashiq went and his voice was so funny. Guess the female teachers sing better than the male teachers.
Everybody enjoyed the NDP celebrated at the school and this is a wonderful way to celebrate Singapore's 45th birthday.
