Soccer East Zone Finals against Loyang Primary

There was a huge roar by the crowd when the Junior Soccer boys received their gold trophies. Huge effort had been put into the game played against Loyang Primary in the finals.

It all started with a huddle, and within seconds, the boys were at their positions in the field. The boys were extremely focused in the game. They had high hopes of winning. The whistle blew and the game started!

It was a really tough game for both, TK and Loyang. There were many attempts where the boys could have scored many goals. But most of them missed by an inch or two. The supporters cheered for the boys for encouragement, gradually getting louder. A tie was made in the first half. The score was still 0-0. TK had to work harder!

After some briefing and rest, the soccer boys were back to the battle. They started their second half of the game with a quick huddle. The boys were determined to be the champions after the goalless draw in the first half. The supporters cheered with all their might and the school flag was raised up high!

Playing with all their hearts, the boys did their best in the game. They made sure they would at least make a few goals. After a few minutes of fighting, the boys managed to score their first goal in the game. Alif, captain of the soccer team, made the goal! They knew that they could do it. And managed to score 3 more other goals. The crowd cheered and roared at the sight of it. Malik scored 2 goals and Ian scored 1 last goal. The defense was strong, as they did not even let any goals in for the opponent. The game ended with a huge glow on everyone’s faces. TK won 4-0.

The boys got their trophies. Hairie was the Golden Boot Winner and Alif was the Man of the Match! Congratulations boys! You are the East Zone Champions!

Excursion to Science Centre

Today, 14.5.2010, we, 5 Olympism went to the Science Centre for an excursion trip. The main objective of this excursion is for us to go for a lesson in the Science Centre about DNA. We learned about DNA, where it is found, how it is used to solve detective cases.
